***WARNING***

SEAFOAM CREATES A HUGE CLOUD OF WHITE SMOKE THAT WILL SCARE THE HELL OUT OF YOUR NEIGHBORS,
SO ONLY USE IT IN A OPEN AND
VERY WELL VENTILATED AREA!!!!

At first I did as others told me....

"pour 1/3 can into the big vacuum line from the brake booster till the engine stalls"
(I HAVE YET TO GET IT TO STALL AND END UP POURING MORE THAN 1/2 THE CAN IN BEFORE I STOP POURING!)
... at this point I just kill engine at the key.

Then I pour the rest into the oil filler
and wait 10 minutes.
(oh... run the truck until it is hot
before you do all this, if possible)

*The next Scout I SeaFoam I will do the following:

Warm the engine, then turn it off.
-Spray out the sparkplug holes with SeaFoam
DeepCreep, reinstall plugs
-spray all vacuum lines with DeepCreep
-add 1/2 can into gas tank when 1/4 full of premium
-add 1/4 can into oil before I start it
-add 1/4 can into carb throat prior to starting
[THAT IS NOW ONE CAN]
...AND WAIT 15 MINUTES OR SO

Start engine at mid-high idle and pour a can
slowly into the big brake booster vacuum line
till engine stalls (or 1/2 can and turn off engine.)

Split the rest of the can between the carb throat
and the oil filler.... and WAIT 15 minutes.

Now run the engine at various speeds (drive it?)
until all the smoke clears.

*if the engine is REALLY old and dirty I would
do the above... then I would wait a day,
add a can to the oil, drive for an hour or so,
then do a complete oil drain and filter change.

I would also keep a few cans on hand for the future....
